Most of us are trying to find the perfect diet plan. I have said this many times before in my posts. Most diet plans fail. This goes for starvation diets, low carb diets, low fat diets, and others. In fact, studies show that 95% of people fail to reach their long term goal in a diet.
We have talked before about the benefits of foods having a low glycemic index. These foods help you to lose weight. High glycemic foods are generally unhealthy and cause you to gain weight.
A new diet has been introduced called the Mobanu Weight Loss diet. Like all new diets, we must take a “wait and see” approach to it.
The diet is based on the fact that each person has a Glycemic Threshold. The threshold is unique for each person and was something you were born with.
If you have a high glycemic threshold, you will store less fat and be able to lose weight more easily. If you have a low glycemic threshold, you will tend to store more fat and gain weight easily.
Everyone is different. Each of us has a different glycemic threshold. So each person must have a different diet plan.
The key to success with this diet plan is to eat in a way that you stay below your personal glycemic threshold. The further below your threshold you are, the more weight you will lose. After you lose the necessary weight, you need to eat at your glycemic threshold level.
This is not a temporary diet plan. It is permanent if you want to keep your weight under control.
Exercise is an important part of this healthy diet plan. As we age, our glycemic threshold tends to go down. This makes it more difficult to lose weight.
But cardio exercises help to bring up this threshold. The Mobanu Weight Loss plan shows you the type of exercise that will raise your threshold.
This healthy diet plan designs your exercise routine so it is fun and no more than 20 minutes.
I read a press release dated September 13, 2011, that goes into some detail on this program. It is entitled, “Beyond the Glycemic Index: Nutrition and Weight Loss Breakthrough.” It is presented by Donald Ochs, founder of the Mobanu program.
Here is a short quote from the press release:
Many are searching for the key to permanent weight loss. Few have found it – until now. While many people are familiar with the glycemic index and its affects on the human body, few understand the body’s true Glycemic Threshold (TM). Mobanu Weight Loss (www.mobanuweightloss.com) fills that gap with a revolutionary patent-pending diet program.
Using new Glycemic Threshold (TM) technology, Mobanu Weight Loss provides a system highly tailored to consumers in the areas of diet/nutrition, exercise, and motivation. According to Donald Ochs, founder of Mobanu Weight Loss, “Mobanu educates those seeking to lose weight about the importance of the body’s Glycemic Threshold. Understanding this is key in finding the right nutritional balance to ensure weight loss.”
The entire press release can be read here.
I feel that this could be one of the best fat burning diet programs. But we will need to see the results.
I like many things about the program. I have felt for a long time that each of us needs to have our own individualized diet. We are all different. Some lose weight quickly, but others do not.
The program does not require starvation or significant reduction in calories. It is not meant to be painful. At the same time this healthy diet plan is to become a way of life for each of us.
Have you tried this diet? If you haven’t, I suggest you do some research to understand it better. Do you think it is worth trying? If anyone does try it, I would love to get your feedback on the results.
